1981 16 foot Cobia Sunskift

I have resently bought a Cobia Sunskift 16 ft.. I have looked the hull over and cannot find the spec plate for person, HP, and weight limit. Dose anyone know where I can get a plate or have the information so I can have one made.

Mine is on the console on port side under a piece of wood that the old owner mounted the fishfinder to. It was a pain to find.

The CC was replaced before I bought it. Where can I get a replacement plate? I know that a 15.6 ft sunskift can hold 5 people or 750 lbs. with a recomened max Hp of 100. I have a 1978 115 hp johnson.I am getting ready to rebuild the inside,beef up the transom and put an in-floor fule tank in. I might need the plate when I take it to the Coast Guard Aux, station to get their ok on the setup before I put the floor in.

Checked with the local Cobia factroy here in Ft. Pirce Fl. which is now owned by Mavrick Boats bought in 2005, and they have no records dating back past 2005. no help there.
