This weekends trip to the river went well. We got a top speed of 33 mph. It has a whole bunch more get up and go. It will plane out with two 190 lb guys onboard, which was nearly impossible before. In the video below, my son is telling me that its a little hard to put in gear. We made a few adjustments and then it ran perfect.

We started with a 13 pitch aluminum prop, this thing rides with the bow shoved down in the water- we really neet to figure out a way to get it on plane with the motor trimmed up. Best of 33 mph with this one.

This prop is a stainless 17 pitch one. We tried it, and the motor just wouldn't do it. You could hear that the rpm was way down, got a best of 28 mph, and it was real hard to get on plane.

id go somewhere in the middle BUT you really need to check the WOT rpm before you go all out with props to know if you can gain pitch -you might do better with a little lower pitch but you wont know until you check your rpms
dont quote me on it but i think faztbullet will tell you youll want to be in the 5800 rpm WOT range for max power and longevity
