1981 70hp Johnson Kill switch install

So, I am gong to be installing an aftermarket kill switch does anyone know what wre it should be hooked up to or what the wiring is? I would assume you just cut and splice the kill switch into one of the ignition wires....

The kill switch will ground your powerpack the same way that turning the key to off does; by closing the ignition gound to the black and yellow kill wire circuit. See the following link for excellent diagrams [scroll down]: http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/ignitionSwitch.html

Be careful to disconnect your battery before wiring the switch. Any voltage riding that black and yellow wire can instantly kill your powerpack.
