My neutral safety switch lets my engine start in gear. I posted this before and had to get out and work on the switch before I had more info. The old switch had one wire connected to only one side, so I pulled it off and the engine still started in gear. Put the new switch on, hooked it up and same result. Any help? Thanks.

I think there is an adjustment screw that actually depresses the switch when in gear. If there is one, try tightening (or loosening) the screw a little bit. (just guessing here)

Why dont you manually hold the switch in the no contact position.See if the motor starts,Then go from there.

If it still starts with the wire disconnected from the switch there's something wrong in your solenoid primary wiring. Have you got the correct solenoid on it ? Sounds like an automotive one to me.
