Before you spend any money on it check the stringers, Aquastar was started by ex Campion employees. They are known for poorly sealed windows and decks,worse than the Campions of that era. Every one I have seen had rotten stringers.
i also have an 81 aquastar i hauled back from stoney plain alb to fing that the whole boat is rotten the the core. but mine has a gm350 5.7ltr omc 800 leg
