Thanks all for the advice so far! I have run into an issue I cant quite figure out...After replacing the oil seal on the upper driveshaft bearing assy, I cleaned all the components and reassembled the driveshaft assy as shown in the diagram and per my shop manual, and the leading bearing race got stuck in the upper housing as I was trying to reinsert the assy into the housing. I did replace the nut and washer with new ones and torqued to spec (no rolling torque needed for this model) and used a hose clamp to keep the spacer and races aligned prior to trying to reassemble...Not sure what I did wrong! I measured the races with my digital calipers thinking maybe one was warped, but they were perfect...I did notice the OD of the race and the ID of the housing at the threads is almost exactly the same, less that .001" difference...I was able to get the stuck race out with a brass punch so I didn't damage the housing. Is this a press fit?? Should I put the driveshaft assy in the freezer and heat up the inside of the housing with a torch or heat gun prior to trying it again? Thanks!
