My motor is needing the upper water tube gaskets and housing replaced so with that apparently comes removing the powerhead.
I am looking for opinions on what else should be checked/replaced while i have it apart. Basically preventitive maintenance so that this is a one time deal. Im ordering the complete gasket kit to start but im sure i will need more seals etc. as i get into it.

Recently purchased this motor and i have already went through the lower unit. I caught the loss in water pressure as soon as it happened so no overheat, at least by me. Compression and spark is good on both cylinders, carb and fuel pump rebuilt recently. Only other issue is a very slow water leak around the upper spark plug, only an external leak - which will be fixed also.
Any help is very much appreciated.
