1982 Chrysler 4 hp impeller source

I'm new to the forum. My motor is 27 years old and has never had the impeller changed. I am going to be using this motor as a kicker on my larger boat and thought I had better change this part now and not run the risk of having it quit and ruin the motor. I have it out. Its 8 blades.
part number (I believe) is F521065 I can give dimensions with a caliper.

The only source I have found wants $70 for OEM part. Another fellow has a 6blade that he said will work for $28. I only paid $60 for the entire kit for my 150 hp Johnson.

Anyone know where I can get the correct impeller at a decent price?

franzmarine@aol.com. those little impellers seem to have a higher price that the larger ones though. probably around 20-25 bucks.

correct impeller is part number 47-F521065-1 and merc cost is $74. Google the part number but unfortunately there are no after market impeller and the 6 vane will not work. My chrysler 45 impeller costs $17. I think the insides of these are made of gold instead of brass. Good luck.
