Hey guys my stator seems to be working but isn't testing in spec so figured id just replace it before I start having issues. From what ive seen online the stock stator is 9amps. Is there any higher output stators available? Ive seen some 16amp ones, is there any larger? if the 16's will work does anyone know what year/model I would grab one off of or have any part numbers? I just don't want to order one and find out it doesn't work. another question is would the rectifier or regulator or anything need to be upgraded if using a high amp stator? higher output would be nice as im thinking of throwing a stereo in the boat and don't want to worry about killing my battery and getting stranded.
