1982 merc 40 hp 2 stroke 6140511 main fuel jet

should the main fuel jet on this motor be bottomed out or set out a turn or more i have manual but is no help for this motor the manual has eight diffrent carbs listed and my carb is not there thanks for help

Hi,

You have tighten it down or it will fall out into the carb bowl passage way
and run to rich.
