So I picked up a 9.8 Mercury for parts and it turns out its only missing a carb. It has good compression and fire to plugs. My question, how do I know which carb I need? There are 2 makes and 6 different stamps listed for this year model, a Walbro and a Tillotson. My serial number is 6041228. Any idea if it matters which one I should use?
