1982 Nordic Viking '26 daycruiser; Hi all!

Hello good boat people.

I'm looking for a forum home with my new old boat. This boat will be lurking on Lake Mary, Flagstaff AZ initially...lol...and then Lake Powell if I can find a good tow setup....

Just bought her from my neighboor whose kids are older now and I think it'll be great for my 3 year old and family 'funnage'.

I just put a pontoon boat's Bimini cover on it...hehehe... 12 feet long! pics to come...

got a used four stroke 8hp johnrude and a troll mount bracket to stick on the back end for sustained 2kt cruising speeds (read cocktail hours) will post pics when mounted..

gonna add stereo gear and other fun stuff...

I don't know that a single 454 is gonna push that heavy 26' into the go-fast category, but it is definitely a rare breed. I wouldn't imagine you could get 60mph out of it, but maybe with the johnnyrude he can add a little extra umphh!
