Hi all!

I purchased all seals and gaskets for the lower part of my motor, as I found water in the gearcase.

Now I am getting in trouble replacing them, as special tools seem to needed.

1. The upper oil seal (around the drive shaft) is hiding behind a pinion bearing in a kind of plate, on which the impeller housing is mounted.

What kind of puller/remover do you recommend, to get the bearing out without destroying it?

2. The lower bearing housing contains the second oil seal (around the propeller shaft). My shop manual says, there is a Suzuki-tool to remove the bearing housing. And destroy the bearing, as they state that they should be replaced (it seems, that the tool gives high pressure to the ball bearings contact surface).

ANY suggestions how to disassemble these two oil seals without the help of special dealers tools and destroying the bearings?

Many thanks in advance,

Chris
