1983 4.3 Outdrive Fit on 1980 350 5.7 OMC Outdrive?

I would like to know if the silver OMC outdrive on my 1983 4.3L will fit the same outdrive application on an OMC 1980 350 V8?

Is the gear ratio different thus making this swap not possible?

short answer: no

long answer:
GM started production of the 4.3 in late 1985, so not possible to have a 1983 4.3, must be a 1985
1985 800 drive was painted silver 1983 was white

1980 800 OMC lower unit is hydromechanical shift, whereas 1983 or 1985 800 is mechanical shift, so no compatibility between lower units
V6 and V8 upper gears are different ratios so no love there either
