Hi everyone I have a motor with problems. Stator open on one side,power pack bad.But there's one part I don't know what it is it don't show in my manual? It's on top of the engine starboard side.It has 3 wires one yellow one purple and a black gnd. It hooks up to the main wires coming in on the connector block wires of the same color.Would like to test it yellow to purple is open but purple to gnd I get 249 ohms.Also in my book they talk about a cd voltmeter what is it? thank you all
