1983 conroy x19 - thinking about buying

I am looking at this 1983 conroy x19 open bow. Looks like a pretty clean boat. Just wanting some feedback if this is a good deal? Make sure I'm not paying too much.

Dude writin' the ad is quite the salesman, eh? I like the Conroys, they're good lookin' boats. That boat is worth a look. It's priced a little high for my area, but if it's in good enough shape it might be worth paying a little extra.

Isaac, my father bought that same EXACT boat brand new in 1983. I know that boat like the back of my hand. We had a little floor rot on both port & starboard sides just in front of the back seats. So look for that if you go to see it. That boat should do 40MPH with a 19P prop. Ours planed out just fine and had a great ride with that prop. I don't know about that high five on there now. It seems very clean and the interior looks good. It may have new carpet on the floor. We would load ours up with five kids, four adults, two coolers and spend all day on the water tubing. A tank of gas would last all weekend. That boat had a sticker price of 12K. Dad sold ours in 1994 for 4500. Oh one more thing, ours had power trim but no trim gauge and no power steering. This boat may not also.
