1983' Evinrude 115hp shift rod length

I asked this question the other day without an answer.

I am going to really simplify it now with hopes of a response.

What is the correct shift rod length for a 1983' 20" 115hp Evinrude?

I assume the measurement would be while in neutral from the fitting to the tip?

Thank you for anyone that has the measurement on this.

Those tables say that they only cover through 1981, but the V4 section for 1982, 1983, and 1984 is the same as 1981: V-4 model in neutral (L) 21-27/32? (XL) model in neutral 26-27/32?.
