1983 merc 470 170hp carb question

i have posted before about my 2bbl carb i would always have to prime the carb to start only when sitting for a period of time i rebuilt the carb like every one told me to the best of my knowledge why does this carb still need to be primed when sitting for a bit. i go up to my trailer on the weekends only and i would have to prime to start if i would go out the next morning i would not have to prime only when sitting for a week what am i missing why does this stupid carb still lose it's fuel

Ayuh,... Chances are, the fuel bowl is leakin', Internally...

were would it leak to there is no signs if fuel leaking outside the bowl what do i have to do to stop this if i buy another used one chances the same thing will happen do they sell new ones or after market for this year of motor?

that is a great video good job but that is for a 4bbl i got a 2bbl is there a video for that

not that I know of, but the part leaking in question might be the same on both.
