1983 mercury 70 hp lower case removal

I have an 1983 70 hp merc attempting to replace the water pump is there a hiden bolt on the front of gear shift housing? I have a repair book it states there is one in the front but I dont see one.

Did you get the one under the trim tab? HAs it dropped at all? You probably have to remove the starter to see the bolt for the shifter.
