Thanks Andy and Clams,I was looking in the manual and it say's 5000-5500 rpms,Thanks Clams for the advice.I only brought the motor up to top wot for about 5 seconds "I get a little nervous leaving it for a long time at that rpm"I figure that if go to a 19 inch prop it will bring the rpm's down to about 5450 and it will still be in range and as far as the hole shot is concered i don't think that will be a problem.The only other thing i would like to change is the impeller"does this mercury usually run hotter than other models i own a 1991 90 hp evinrude and the water from the telltale on the merc. is a lot hotter and coming out of the exaust was almost to hot to keep your hand in it. Is that normal? it's a 1984 115 hp inline merc serial# 6478747 thanks
