Good afternoon, I have an older Johnson outboard. I believe the year of the motor is between the years of 1984-1990 and its like a 7.5 or 8 HP..im not sure how to tell how old it is ... serial # is g6015157 ..well anyways , the motor was given to me and it runs nice i guess..i started it up today and the water was pissing nicely then all of a sudden stopped...im guessing this means either the line is clogged or maybe the water pump is bad...does anyone know where to find the water pump..my old motors water pump was located in the lower unit..i think this one is also but i not sure..in the rear of the motor is the water line that is supposed to spit out the water..but the other end of the line is hooked up to a black box in the rear of the motor..i was wondering if maybe the water pump is this back box? Can someone please help me or maybe let me know of a website where i can view a diagram???<br /> Thank You, Blake
