1984 90 h.p. inline six mercury misfire problem

Just a word about my recent success with this old motor. Lots of very helpful advice on this forum. Was experiencing misfire at half to wide open throttle. Was cleaning plugs, fuel treatment and trying all the helpful tips to no avail. Decided to try brand new spark plugs. it worked like a charm. Motor now runs at all rpms without a miss and even trolls for hours without a problem. Don't pay high price for the ngk plugs. Search the internet for a good price with cheap shipping. i got mine for $2.39 ea.. Marinas and boat dealers want as much as $13 ea.

As Bigtrout says, Common OB spark plugs are avail a lots of auto parts places.
