1984 grady white

i have a 1984 grady 204 fisherman with an 65 gal. gas tank. i need to replace the fuel sensor(stuck on 1/2 tank)before i pull the old one i would like to order a new one but what size? thanks

The universal senders may be adjusted to fit the tank. You cut them down with a hacksaw, according to the dimentions of the tank.

The sender that was used back then have since gone obsolete. Grady has since started using WEMA senders. http://www.wemausa.com/tank_sensors/details_SSS_SSL_tank_sensors.htm

Call Grady customer service and ask how deep your tank is or just remove the existing sender and measure the depth of the tank. Order a sender that is 3/4" shorter that your measurement
