I have a 1984 Johnson 90hp, sometimes when I go to start it it will just give a click and the starter wont engauge or anything.Sometimes it will just do it once when im tryin to start it and sometimes it might do it 5 or 6 times before it will turn over.Then when it turns over it make a low pitch whine sound..I have checked my battery and it is good and charged checked all my connections and they appear to be clean and tight. I guess what I am asking is the starter going bad or is there a solienoid somewhere that could be the culprit? <br /> Thank you for all your help.
