1984 Mariner 115HP Serial Number 6527206

Just got this motor. Had to do extensive electrical repairs to get it running. Finally got it going, now I need a shop manual, because I have steam coming from the telltale after the engine gets warmed up and I am not getting charge to the battery. I would like to buy the water pump housing kit, but don't know how to find the part number for the manual or the kit. When I had problems with my last motor someone on here had the numbers, so I'm hoping I'll get lucky again. If anyone could point me to where to find it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Thanks Fun Times. I would prefer not to use an aftermarket manual, but haven't been able to find the part number for the original, hence my post. Maybe someone else can enlighten me. Thanks for the Parts Catalogue!

O.K., so next question. Without a manual I am having trouble figuring out: Does this motor have a Thermostat? If so, where is it located? also, what is this "poppit valve" and does this motor have one of those too? I know that overheating is one of the leading causes of failure of two stroke motors, so I'd just as soon get all this done at once! I looked at the parts list Fun Times provided, but I can't find a Thermostat on any of those schematics...

Thanks!
