I bought a 1984 ranger 335v from a storage lot and am in the process of restoring it. there is what looks like a through hull transducer in the bilge but it doesn't look like it goes all the way through the hull. does anyone know what this is. also it has 2 slide levers to open and close livewells but they are no good. where can i get replacement valves. both slide cables work ok.

Thru hull transducers on a glass boat don't go all the way threw the hull, They are glassed into the bottom of the boat and shoot thru the hull,.......

Send an e-mail to Ranger about the livewell valves, They would know better than anyone else,...

Hi, i ordered a 1958 chevy heater valve from auto zone ( $20.00 ) when it comes in, i'll let you know if it works. 5/8" inlet and outlet nipples. looks pretty much like the same valve.
