1984 rebuilt 140 evinrude

This engine has 30 hours on it rebuilt... Was told to mix 500 ml oil to 20L gas. I have bin mixing 50:1 is this about the same or what is recomended?!?

You must not have the factory OMS fuel/oil pump on the engine anymore-instead one of the conventional premix pumps. Yes, after break-in, you should run 50 to 1. In the English system, that is 1 pint of oil to 6 gallons of fuel.
