Recently I purchased a 17 ' Lund Cherokee with a 1985 -140H/P Evinrude TLCO v4 motor on it.<br />We had a hell of a time starting it and then found one bank of carbs loose, tightened them up and everything seemed fixed. Now, however, in order to start it, someone has to constantly prime the motor and it starts immediately. Occasionally after starting it will start to surge, will drop from 5000 rpm to 3500 and then back up to 5 again. If you prime it, it will even out again and run fine for another 10-15 minutes and then repeat surging. Any help would be appreciated
