what do i need to check and how do i check it ? was sweet now stoped the spark

First check the simple stuff such as kill lanyard pulled. Then go to CDI electronics and download the troubleshooter manual to test your stator and trigger. Also a DVA adapter will help greatly for your ohmmeter.

You really need the OEM service manual for your engine, a DVM, a DVA, spark tester, and know how to use them.
Since you probably don't have the OEM service manual, you can Click here and turn to page 84 for the troublshooting information from CDI Electronics. It should guide you through the process.

Losing spark on ALL cyl's is often a fault in the ignition switch or a pulled lanyard.

On the motor, disconnect the black wire with a thin yellow trace that connects the ignition boxes to the wiring harness, retest for spark.

If you now have spark then the problem isnot with the motor/ignition system, but in the ignition switch/lanyard.
If you start the motor it will NOT shut off.
