1985 185hp lower unit removal

Hello Everyone,
I've been reading this forum alot lately and have gained alot of knowledge(seeing i've only owned a boat for a couple months).I've got a problem,I need to change the water pump on my motor and I can't get the lower unit to come off.Took out all six bolts and it dropped down about a 1/2 inch and won't come any further.My question is:Is there something i'm missing?I assumed thru reading the forums that once you take the bolts out the unit just slides out.I've tried wiggling it around but it just don't want to budge.Any suggestions?

there is a shift rod pin under the carbs, 3/8" hex you will have to remove. it should come right off

yeap that got it,thanks K! It came right out after i got that bolt out.It was a chore getting it back in the fork when i but it back together though.
