black yellow wire internal harness, where does it connect, i've got motor that will not stop, found B/Y kill wire had been splice, but has come apart. the other half is missing.

Remote or tiller? Electric start? Charger?

Look for 5 wire amphenol between alternator and powerpack. The center connection is the kill wire.

where does it go to on the motor itself, this looks like a stray wire coming out of the motor main harness, i have all the wires to the power pack connector.

Depends on the answers to the questions. If it has the large red plug on a remote electric start, it goes from the amphenol to the usual place on the large red plug; and, from the other side of the amphenol to the powerpack.

wish i had a picuture, the Amphenol is entact. all the wires are in the right place except the black w/ yellow tracer. Electric start. fires right up but no kill.

If it is a tiller model, electric or manual start, the wire running from the center of the incoming amphenol will be black and will lead to a stop button.
