I have everything hooked up with the exception of the "distributor to shift interrupt wire" and the "coil to ignition splice lead wire to shift interrupt switch" . I have already timed the motor and everything is fine on that part of it.. My question is..... which side of the shift interrupt switch does the "distributor to shift interrupt wire go to? I would assume negative. One side of the shift interrupt is positive and the other side is negative. The electronic choke wires are hooked into the shift interrupt switch as well. Also, does it really matter if its hooked up to the actual shift interrupt "switch" or the shift interrupt "box". And last but not least do i really need to run another 12v wire to the shift interrupt switch

If your using the OEM switch that uses a ground, you must remove the ground connection at the screw and run that to the switched 12v

This makes no sense because the electric choke gets the full 12volts and the resistance wire goes from there to the coil

I believe that ign system uses 12v applied to the ign system to make the motor "stumble" so you can get out of a gear.
The oem switch wires are connected as such. The top screw or bottom screw is isolated and thats where the wire to the neg side of the coil went. The other wire is connected to the other screw that is also the ground connection. Let me get some pics
