When I get finished installing the pertronix swap over I should have 3 wires connected to the Positive side of the coil. One is for continuous 12V with the switch on fed from the positive choke wire. One is from the starter solenoid, and One is going the the ignitor inside the distributor. Is this correct?

Did you change to an internally ballisted coil or using stock?

Looks right to me... ie, that will work.

If I was doing it, I'd remove the starter bypass wire. It's no longer needed, and for clarity, can be removed. You can remove the starter bypass wire completely (disconnect and tape back at the starter motor end as well as the coil end)....

Or just leave it on as you have... Electrically, it's the same...

Got the Pertronix hooked up just as said and ran like a top. Fired right up and idled smoothly at 800rpms. Reset the timing and took it for a ride last Friday and Saturday.

You should get your idle down to 650 RPM. 800 is pretty high and not good for the drive.
