1985 3.8 omc exhust manifolds

hey guys i have a 1985 3.8 v6 omc engine, now the problem is that the eshust manifolds are volvo penta. the mecanik took a look at it and he said that the gaskets has to be changed because it has a air lick. now i just want to know do i order a omc exhust manifold gasket or volvo penta? and is it normal or ok that i have those manifolds on a omc engine ?
