1985 50 HP Force Motor Problems

I recently changed my impeller and I cleaned out the carb, but my motor isnt starting. The boat turns over, and it fires up, but it doesn't stay running. I'm not great with motors, but I know it could be a bunch of different things. Any ideas for a next step that doesn't involve taking it in?

Either your carb is flooded or not getting enough gas. I would try choking if your not getting enough gas, and check the plugs for wet electrodes.

Check the screw inside the small hole on top of carburetor, the original manual for that year motor says screw in until it is just starting to tighten up and then turn back out a full turn and tweak from there, or check the idle screw. Both are easily accesible
