I pulled the stator after switching the red and blue wires with the red /white and blue /white.on the packs according to the site. The plugs went from firing 1,3 5 cylinders to 2,4, 6. From what I read this means the stator. I resistance checked the stator wires ( stator removed from engine ) per the chart and they are perfectly within the tables range. The only thing I found was the insulation was burned off the two yellow wires about 2 inches or so. But they have about .8 ohms resistance between them and each to ground is about 1200 ohms. Before I pull the trigger on a new stator is it bad?
