Re: 1985 glasstream bass boat restore

I just purchased a 1985 Glasstream bass boat 1550 with a DT55 Suzuki motor. It is in good condition but clearcoat needs restoring. It feels as though I can feel the glitter in the paint. I will be watching your restoration for information and ideas.

I bought a 1987 Glasstream 140 Stinger brand new back in the day. It was there smallest boat. Fished out of it for five years and never gave me a bit of trouble. I'd love to have the boat you've got. How is the floor and transom?

This is the restoration section Mikey.... post your question in the prop question forum....http://forums.iboats.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35

Please start your own thread and don't hijack someone else's.... It get's confusing for others to follow this rebuild..... Thanks!
