1985 Glastron Conroy 16 footer

I just purchased a 1985 Glastron Conroy 16 footer with a 100hp merc o/b.

While cleaning the boat I noticed I do not have the tag which tells the max. hp and max. number of people, weight and such.

I live in NY and plan on using the boat in the finger lakes. Is this tag required? If so where can I get a replacement?

That boat is probably rated for a 90 or 115 hp. To be sure, check out this site:

You can find all the old brochures there. To find out for sure the year of your boat, look at the model # engraved on the transom. The first 2 of the last 3 digits should be the year of the boat. For example, my Glastron's last 3 #s are 781, so mine is a 78. Hope this helps. There are also links on the site for replacement parts. Good luck.
