What type of oil do you use in a 1985 70hp Johnson lower unit

I dont know why you have got no answers!

Personally I do not have a 1985 70hp so I dont use any oil in one but if I did because it is conventional mechanical shift I would use a standard high viscosity outboard engine gear oil.

(It would have a viscosity in the SAE 80 85 or 90 range.)
