Does any one know where I can get a used rectifier part # 0395391. I tried to use the rectifer for the non trim motor but it charges WFT to 16-18 volts and I don't want to fry my battery. Any suggestions or helpful info?
High voltage like that is very common in non-regulated systems like yours. Common causes are loose/dirty connections, bad battery, or the wrong type of battery. i.e. automotive instead of marine.
