1985 mercury 50; 2 stroke choke issue

This old motor really runs great, only problem is cold start The push to choke is buggered up on the key switch. I can take the cover/ cowling off and manual choke for the one second needed. Is there a manual choke kit I can install so I don’t have to take outer cover apart when cold. Don’t want new key switch

You could install a manual primer unit as per some Johnson / Evinrude 30 HP models.----You could install a toggle switch to operate your choke solenoid.------Not sure why you would not want to replace your ignition switch here.
