1985 Mercury 90 HP another question

I ordered the stator and rectifier. The thought I just had was I never marked the flywheel when I took it off. Anybody know how to line it up right? Last thing I want to do it mess up the timing. Never pulled a flywheel off without a keyway. The six bolt thing was different.

OK, so you removed just the outer flywheel. It can only go on one of six ways, over 360 degrees. So if you put it on wrong, it will be 60 degrees off, which will be easy to spot. Set the motor to TDC using a screwdriver thru the #1 plug hole. Now install the flywheel, so it shows TDC on the timing decal, or real close....
