1985 Sear Ray, 170 MC inboard, no ignition spark

She ran great several months ago and has sat under my shed since. Today it turns over well but has not spark at a plug. I put a good plug into the wiring while the engine turns over and it has no spark. I removed the distributor cap and the points and rotor look good. It was all newly replaced early this year. I have a spark when I short the distributor with a screw driver and the key is on. All wires are pushed in solid.
What should I do next?
