1985 Suzi kill cord

I have a 1985 dt 85, I am in need of the proper kill cord. I purchased a set of unicords, but none fit. Can someone post a pic or link of the one I need ? Thanks

I have a 1986 DT75. I believe they would probably be identical since it is essentially the same motor.

As yu can see from these pictures it looks very similar to the key switch, except red w/ stretchable coiled lanyardView attachment 109432View attachment 109433

Have you tried hopping on down to your locall Suzuki dealer? Readily available for about $10.

What do you mean by "they don't work". Are you not able to open them?

I have not persued it. I am busy restoring a boat, but will try to get one soon.

O.K. I have been rtying to find one, nearest dealer is over 100 miles away, not an option. Maybe I'll just bypass it.

You should be able to order a suitable replacement online. The control boxes were the same for many Suzukis of that era. I found one identical to it online
