Was wondering if a 2 air adjuster carb will work instead of the 1 air adjuster carb?

I got this one

but it is back firing like crazy

any ideas?

they adjust the fuel mix , not the air mix. in is leaner,out is richer.
depends on the carb base. If its the same size bolt pattern and dimentions.
backfiring may be a ignition issue, timing issue, burnt/damaged intake valve.
conta,imated fuel.
