This engine appears to be in good shape, except that it has not run for several years. It has a compression of 90, 91, 89, 90, 91, 90 in 6 cylinders and will run for a short time if ?starting fluid? is placed in the 3 carbs. In the last several days the fuel/oil pump has been replaced; bypassing the fuel tank and using a premix of 50:1 and priming the carbs. the motor will not start. The other odd thing is that when I remove fuel outlet line and engage the starter only a small amount of fuel ?little more than a trickle? comes out of the VRO pump, does this seem right? I have been scouring the forum for the last several days for ideas - any insights on what to try next is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and efforts in advance.
