1986 15hp Evinrude

Can anyone tell me if this motor can be converted to remote control and if so, what parts will be necessary for the conversion?

I'm gonna take a stab and say yes, only because I saw a boat on ebay with a 9.9 and remote. Go to BRP website and see if there are parts for it

Retnav, go to iShopMarine.com, click on OB Accessiries then find the year of your motor. You should be able to find if there were any kits available and if so what parts you'll need.

Yep, remote adaptor kits are still available. PN 398032. 'Bout $42 from John/Rude dealer.
