1986 24 ft Sylvan Pontoon hardtop

Trying to find the 4 supports poles for the hardtop, anyone know where to order them from. If any one has pictures of this model boat would like to see, trying to put back to the original condition. Thanks

Afraid you aren't going to find them.

Those were made by Smoker in house so it isn't something you can run dow to boaters world and get.

You might try calling Smoker Craft,they made your boat and see if they can help you but a part for a 23 year old boat may be hard to get even then.

If you have a picture, decent drawing or an old one to copy, most metal shops or welding shops could make it up.

I just removed the hardtop from my 77 Sylvan 24' pontoon. Not sure if mine are the same as yours. Do you have a pic?

They are around 41" 42" long and 4" wide
Just looked at your restor it looks like same design as my 1986 model except I have a hard top The support poles look same as the ones i have

I have a 92 Sylvan Westwind 24' pontoon with the hard top and am considering taking it off & putting a bimini top on the boat. Is there a market for the hard top?

Sure--at your local aluminum recycling operation. I removed my 8'x10" Starcraft top last week to paint the ceiling of my boathouse, and I wondered how much the 100 lb. roof would be worth for the metal.

The modern bimini's are just so much easier to deal with, especially putting up and down for trailering.

I put ours on Craigslist and had it sold within a couple days. There are some people out there that prefer the hard tops. I've seen several ads this summer from people looking for them.

I'll only be able to swap the tops if I can get $350 to $400 for the hardtop. If you're looking for a freebee, I can't help you. Where are you located? I'm in Birmingham, Alabama.

I am thinking of turning my Crest III into a Weekender constructing it with mostly aluminum windows.
Would a standard pontoon hardtop work? I was thinking of using aluminum square tubing to support the
Top and framing the windows with the same.
