1986 4.3 mer cruiser. In line fuse blowing when I crank

Went to start my 1986 chapperal w/4.3 mer cruiser and my in line fuse blows everytime. I checkled to if wires were exposed and I don't see anything. It was running fine last weekend... please help I'm at a loss. First boat and when it comes to electrical I don't know much.

that fuse should be a 20A

Has anything recently been worked on or added in the boat? It could either be a short along the ignition wire to the coil or the ignition switch itself.

No sir. Last weekend I changed the water feul separater. But started it afterwards and it was fine.
I can change the fuse and turn the key to on and everything lights up. I turn the key to crank and it blows. I will change the solenoid see if that works

The wire ti the coil is good then because it gets power when the switch is in the on position. The yellow wire with the red stripe should be the one going to the solenoid.
