1986 90 hp johnson trunion

My manual tells how to adjust the upper trunion but for the life of me I can't find anything on how to adjust or the purpose of the lower trunion.thanks

Gee, isn't one cable trunnion for throttle and the other for shift?

It used to be that way...m

If your referring to the "H" it's the retaining bolt for keeping the trunnions in otherwise both trunnions have to be set correctly.

There is a throttle cable and a shift cable.----The trunnion is the method for adjustment.----Curious to know the reason for your question.-----Issues with your motor ?
